Hey! I’m Evan Marshall. I was born in a small town in central Iowa…about an hour away from where Elijah Wood was born and raised, and about 2 hours north of where the fictional character James T. Kirk was raised in Riverside, IA.
I’ve moved around to Michigan and Minnesota over the past many years, but now I’m living in Nixa, MO, where the fictional character Jason Bourne was born. Notice that I just reference the fictional persons? Eh, life is nice in these quiet parts of the world, and I have found through the years that I like it that way.
Presently my job is working for a good organization that makes software for home-care and Hospice agencies. I take care of Windows servers and databases for remote agencies all across the country. In my spare time I like the arts – playing guitar, photography, and acting mostly. But I also really like the quiet things in life like books, landscaping, and just hanging out with family and friends.
I’ve been a Christian for most of my adult life, since 1990, and have been involved with the Vineyard Association of Churches for many years…usually deeply involved with worship music. Presently I’m one of Woodland Hills Church’s “podrishioners”, as well as being involved with a church called Milestone Church in Springfield.
If you see me around out and about in Springfield, I’m typically going to have coffee or a pint with my close friends, looking for a new book to read, going to see someone play music, or just trying to enjoy the weather. Feel free to say hello.
