If you believe government itself is a problem, should you govern?

Seems like a simple question, and a good one as well.

If you believe that technology is a problem, then people will probably be less inclined to let you fix their computer. If you believe that modern medicine isn't all its cracked up to be, then we probably don't want you on a hospital board. If you don't like flowers or trees, then I really don't want you running an environmental protection group.

Similarly, if you believe that government itself is a problem, do we really want you to be governing us? Electing anyone like this is counterproductive to the purpose of government, and works against the people's self-interest.
